Glan LLyn Primary School, Newport

Glan LLyn Primary School is a 2 form entry school which provides 420 places plus nursery undertaken by St Modwen as part of their Glan Llyn development on the former Llanwern Steelworks site at Newport. The school, when at full capacity, will serve the planned 4,000 new houses currently being built on the 600 acre site.

Gareth Davies Project Services has undertaken Principle Designer and Design Management services on behalf of the contractor Charnwood Civils during construction.

The school was successfully completed in July 2019.
Design Management services and Principal Designer services have included construction management during the latter stages, Health and Safety advice and the preparation of the combined H&S File/Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
