L’Atelier, Cardiff
This house was designed to fit within a row of existing villas in an established leafy suburb of Cardiff. The narrow plot facing south, required an ingenious approach to providing living spaces that had an outlook facing south rather than north. By adopting an ‘upside down house’ and taking full advantage of an exposed roof structure, enabled the living spaces to flow and benefit from a great aspect, whilst capturing plenty of daylight.
